Jeffreys Bay is the gold standard by which all rights are valued. When it’s at its best, it’s a long, classic pointbreak, with a mix of fast, racing walls and hollow, barreling sections, all groomed by offshore winds. “Fastest wave in the world,” many have said, and they’re not wrong. Bruce Brown’s quest for the perfect wave in 1963’s The Endless Summer landed him at Cape Saint Francis, just west of Jeffreys Bay. In the film, Bruce proclaimed that Cape Saint Francis produced good surf more than 300 days a year — when in reality, they just happened to stumble upon a rare day at a spot that broke maybe five times a year. (The spot’s now called Bruce’s Beauties.) Ironically, the dream of nearly every regularfooter on the planet was right next door.
With this Limited Edition photographic print you can feel the excitement of paddling out at Jeffreys Bay from the comfort of your home! Collect this poster and the other iconic wave images from our collaboration with World Surf League.
